This photograph portrays the behaviour of Thomisus Spectabilis, also known as Flower Spider and White flower Spider. In this photograph female and male are seen as coupling together. This spider belongs to Thomisidae family and Thomisus Spectabilis spices. The most amazing thing about this spider is that the size of a female is usually 10 or 11 mm and on the other hand the size of male is usually between 3 and 6 mm. Besides, the colour of a female is white to light yellowish and on the contrary the colour of a male is darker (almost brown). Also the shape of a male is different to that of a female. This spider is usually found around a flower where it sits and waits for a prey, usually nectar-feeding insects. It may also be found in vegetation particularly on the under side of a leave. If it bites, it may cause some mild and localised pain.
