Celebrating 4th Anniversary..............
-Profile-
Passionate for Clicking Nature
Satpal Singh
Born on 20 July- 1991 in village Alinagar of District Lakimpur Kheri (U.P-India), Satpal Singh was in touch with nature since his childhood days. He often used to go to farm fields with his father. There he observed diverse species of birds and small creatures. They used to attract him very deeply. A profound desire to capture them through camera took birth in his heart. In the year 2008, Satpal went through a few photography magazines. The images and articles in those magazines left so much impact on his mind and soul that he decided to photograph pretty creatures. His parents encouraged him, and soon he purchased a SLR Camera. Now a new chapter of his life opened. He started clicking the nature whole heartedly. Initially the results were not so much satisfactory as there was nobody to guide him. Later he got in touch of some photo artists of his neighbor cities. Their support and motivation boosted his zeal. As a result there came an improvement in his skills. Very shortly he joined India International Photographic Council, Delhi and Photo Vision, Bareilly. Joining these organisations provided him the opportunity to polish his skills more. Subsequently he started participating in photography contests. The results were very positive. His images got wide appreciation in the world of art photography. Thus his progression of creativity began.
Satpal has got more than 25 awards and around 300 acceptances in the contests at national and international levels. India International Photographic Council has honoured him with its prestigious Associateship (AIIPC) in nature section. Many of his images have been published in reputed magazines like, Saevus, Sanctuary Asia, Better Photography, Mistnet etc. Recently he is associated with a joint project of TSA-India (Turtle Survival Alliance America’s Indian Unit) and National Geographic. This project is related to a special documentation on Turtles.
Satpal possesses Nikon D 90 and Nikon D 3200 cameras with Nikon 18-105 mm, Nikkor 105 mm Macro and Sigma 150-500 mm lenses.
He has completed his B.Sc from Kanpur University in current year. Now he is  planning to do M.Sc in zoology from the same University.
