Portraying the Cultural Feel of India
Sanjeev Kumar

Art enables the artist to experience the eternal bliss ever fragrant in his own consciousness. Time and space strengthen his sincere efforts to see the divine in mundane aspects of life. His aspirations are the light of love in the society.  India is that sacred land where each grain of sand reflects the rare hues of human aspirations to embrace the Eternal Truth ever fragrant in the human consciousness.
Sanjeev Kumar (Chandigarh), a versatile artist, has been blessed with a rare zeal and zest to search the forms of the Formless Love that is fragrant in our art and culture.
His pictures are the fine examples of art and portray the life in India in extremely creative way.
Although he loves photographing all aspects of life, he has deep special fascination for the land of Lord Krishna, the Brij region of India. Every year before the Holi festival, his urge becomes his vehicle and carries him to Barsana, the land where people still go in frenzy after tasting the drop of that love which rained here during various aspects of Raslila...
Lathmar Holi festivities which nourish the creative urge of Sanjeev Kumar have been associated with a Hindu legend related to Lord Krishna and Radha. Like a saint he participates in these celebrations and God fills his begging bowl (Camera) with the most precious jewels of Indian culture.
Sanjeev’s tryst with materials, be it a camera or the canvas and brush, takes him to those realms of human consciousness where self gets idealized into the universal self automatically.
Winners of many prestigious honours, Sanjeev feels that the frantic moments of melting into the forms he aspires for, is always his most cherished award.
