Born on 16 March, 1961, Devendra Sharma (Ratlam, M.P, India) is a committed photo-artist. He had a creative taste right from his childhood days. Due to his interest in arts, he did Diploma Course in Photography Art from ICS, Bombay in 1980. Successively he completed his M.A in Fine Arts from Madhav College of Ujjain in 1987. These courses boosted his artistic desire and he took on photography as a medium of expression seriously. Thus began his endless journey of art. Soon he started participating in the contests of photography at national and international levels. The positive results in these competitions added wings to his creative pursuit. He has won a number of awards and certificates till date. A good number of his photographs have been used in reputed publications. The India International Photographic Council, Delhi has honored him with its Associateship and The Federation of Indian Photography, Kolkata has conferred its Fellowship upon him. Mr. Devendra is an artist of high caliber. The photographs clicked by him depict both, the variety of subjects, and his skillfulness.
He is the founder of “Srijan Camera Club” of Ratlam. This club aims at organizing photography exhibitions and workshops for the art lovers.
