A doctor (paediatric) by profession and a habitant of Bareilly (India), Dr. Kamran Khan has a longing for photography for a period of more than a decade. In fact he was inclined towards this art since his college days, but could not concentrate in this direction due to his studies. It was some 10 years back that he had an opportunity to visit a photography exhibition in his town. The art-photographs displayed in this show fascinated him so intensely that he determined to take this hobby seriously. Meanwhile he came in touch of some serious amateurs of his town who encouraged him to take his passion seriously. Thus began his voyage of art. Though Dr. Kamran loves all the branches of photography art equally, shooting still life is his prime liking. His still life shots are full of new experiments and are competent enough to attract an art lover at one sight. A good number of his pictures have been accepted in All India level Photography Exhibitions. India International Photographic Council (IIPC), New Delhi has honoured him by its Licentiateship Honour and Bronze Grade as well.
