A Serene Place : Bandra Bhan
Bandra Bhan is situated at a distance of about 6 kilometres from Hoshangabad City of Madhya Pradesh (India). This place is of great significance as River Tawa joins River Narmada* here. Tawa's origin is in the Satpura Range of Chhindwara and Betul districts. It meets Narmada at Bandra Bhan after a long journey. This river is the longest tributary of Narmada (About 170 km). A big religious fair is organised every year at Bandra Bhan on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. This is a charming place and is rich in scenic beauty. We can reach here by taxi or auto rickshaw from Hoshangabad. Further Hoshangabad is located on Mumbai-Bhopal railway line and is within reach.
